Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. seeks a Nurse Technician for the Muskogee campus to provide patient care under a licensed nurse's supervision. The role uses the nursing process to improve patient functional status and supports unit operations.

The position is full-time with a 7:00 pm–7:00 am night shift, including weekends. Requires a HS diploma or GED and completion of Nurse Technician or CNA training. CPR must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Saint Francis Nurse Technician Training or CNA program required.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 0–6 months related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with ADLs and maintains documentation per unit policy.
• Observes and reports patient condition, needs, and responses to care.
• Performs unit-specific procedures as delegated by the licensed nurse.
• Records vital signs, intake/output and treatments accurately.
