Corewell Health's ICU Medical 8 MHC Butterworth Grand Rapids unit is seeking a part-time Night Nurse Technician to support nurses in caring for critically ill patients in a 24-bed MICU. The role involves ventilator support, titratable medications, and bedside procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Orientation runs 8–12 weeks with preceptor shifts; requires a High School Diploma and BLS within 90 days; 1 year of patient care experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required within 90 days.
• 1 year of patient care experience strongly preferred.
• Flexibility with availability.

Responsibilities

• Check blood sugars, vitals, bed bathing, ambulating, and wound care.
• Assist with catheterization and act as a safety attendant for patients.
• Support bedside procedures and help prepare sterile fields for procedures as needed.
