Job summary

Corewell Health’s Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a Nurse Tech for progressive care. You will assist with vitals, basic care, and safety under RN supervision, with initial day-shift orientation and transition to nights after orientation weeks.

Eligible team members receive benefits and participate in orientation as part of a collaborative care model on 6S ICU/Cardiac. This full-time role supports advanced cardiopulmonary care needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to work the orientation schedule noted (3 days/week) during day shift.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, check blood sugars, bed baths, ambulation, wound care, catheterization.
• Act as safety attendant to patients as needed.
• Report observations to RN or Provider and document accurately and timely.
