Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care in the ICU, following the nursing process and guiding colleagues. Responsibilities include patient safety, documentation, and discharge planning for diverse age groups.

Role may require relief charge duties and collaboration with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate holds an NM RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS/TNCC within set timeframes, and may be bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required.
• RN license in NM or via reciprocal agreement by NM.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days.
• Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
• Nationally Certified in area of specialty (optional).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process.
• Lead staff as relief charge when designated and promote team collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Care for Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients as assigned.
• Administer medications, including IV meds, and document findings.
• Assist with tests/procedures and ensure proper consent.
• Document care plans and discharge planning with patient/family teaching.
