• Previous Critical Care experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care required.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• Completion of preceptor class.
• BSN degree required.

Aufgaben

• Teach and mentor the nurse preceptee, guiding and supervising clinical nursing activities.
• Provide guidance on patient care and scope of practice, including effective communication with the care team.
• Oversee learning opportunities and address staff skill gaps, ensuring safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Communicate patient condition changes with physicians and staff; respond quickly to deviations.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; collaborate with patients and families to achieve goals.
