BJC HealthCare in Saint Louis, Missouri, is seeking an RN Manager for the ICU to oversee a brand-new Multidisciplinary ICU at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. This role requires a BSN, critical care and leadership experience, and offers a leadership position with no weekends or calls.

The ANM will support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, and staff development, ensuring top-quality patient care in a Magnet-recognized environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 2-5 years of RN experience in critical care.
• CCU/ICU leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, assigns work, and conducts performance evaluations for staff.
• Develops staff through professional development plans and mentoring.
• Ensures staffing and productivity align with department goals and budgets.
• Provides and oversees patient care per the planned interventions and care plan.
• Leads daily operations, payroll updates, and timekeeping for the unit.
• Manages overtime and staffing, approves actions, and communicates with leadership.
