Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead our new Multidisciplinary ICU. The ANM supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development and maintaining high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, with BSN and critical care experience. Leadership experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with no weekends and no call.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Critical Care experience essential.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff including hiring, training, assigning work, and evaluating performance.
• Coordinates patient care, equipment, and daily operations in the ICU.
• Works with Nurse Manager to develop staffing plans, budgets and goals.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentorship to the nursing team.
