Job summary

UT Health San Antonio seeks an ICU RN III to provide expert direct patient care and mentor department staff. The role includes leading governance activities, acting as charge nurse when needed, and coordinating education with management across the institution.

The RN III performs comprehensive nursing assessments, documents care, and supports practice improvements while modeling compassionate communication with the interprofessional team and patients.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years nursing experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers with customer service focus.
• Proficiency in nursing process, clinical documentation and knowledge of Microsoft tools.
