UTMB Health in League City is seeking a Nurse Clinician II (RN) for the 2N ICU on the Day shift. The role requires an RN with six months of clinical RN experience or successful completion of probationary NC I, Texas RN license, and current BLS.

The position focuses on nursing process, patient/family teaching, care coordination, and professional performance in alignment with UTMB policies and standards. This is a full-time, days schedule in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license or valid permit to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the daily care of assigned patients.
• Identifies nursing diagnoses/patient care needs. Develops and revises care plans as needed.
• Executes physician's orders for all assigned patients and administers medications and treatments.
• Provides patient/family instruction based on learning needs and uses Teach-Back to ensure understanding.
• Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes patient care activities with the inter-professional team.
• Demonstrates competent use of technology in delivering patient care.
• Maintains safety and continuity of care with hand-off tools/processes.
• Participates in unit meetings, quality improvement activities, and ongoing education.
