Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in a temporary capacity. The RN will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinate patient/family teaching with the care team.

Responsibilities include rapid response to changes in patient condition and ongoing communication with physicians. Qualifications include a current state RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred CCU experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; CCU preferred.
• CCR N certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
