Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides direct patient care within ICU scope and guides patient/family teaching.
• Directly responsible for care of assigned patients; communicates with physicians on changes in condition.
