Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN will deliver safe patient care and guide patient/family education in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires current RN license, BLS and ACLS certificates; BSN is preferred. Night shift; temporary employment status in a community hospital serving Lower Bucks County, PA.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, including cardiac monitoring and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
