Day Kimball Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU/Telemetry on the night shift in Putnam, CT. The role involves assessing patients, implementing plans of care, and ensuring safe, compassionate care through the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut required.
• CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) within 3 months of hire required.
• NVCIT certification or within 3 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psycho-social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and discharge needs.
• Document care plans clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrate technical skill and knowledge of patient care equipment.
• Evaluate and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Develop and implement a plan of care for each patient.
• Recognize unsafe or life-threatening situations and intervene appropriately.
