Job summary

Meritus Health's Intensive Care Unit in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU. This full-time night shift (630pm-7am) job offers a fast-paced, high-acuity environment in a 24-bed unit, with a generous sign-on bonus up to $30,000.

The ideal candidate will have ASN with BSN preferred, at least one year of hospital experience, and a Maryland RN license or compact-state license with Maryland privileges. Strong clinical and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred; Diploma RN waiver for ASN holders.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience; critical care experience preferred.
• Maryland RN license or compact-state license with Maryland privileges.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for ICU patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Ambulate intubated patients and assist with intubation procedures.
• Support with intra-aortic balloon pump management and renal replacement therapy.
• Collaborate with respiratory and physical therapy teams.
