Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure in state or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care according to nursing process and policies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings; report changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety in the care environment.
• Document patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with nursing standards.
