Job summary

Northwest-Health-Porte in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process, from assessment through evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes and a compassionate environment for patients and families.

Typical hours include Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 with no weekends or on-call in many roles.

Qualifications

• RN license in the relevant state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations are expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care per clinical protocols.
• Assess patients, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Perform procedures within competency, assist physicians during procedures.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and discharge plans.
