Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for ICU care on a part‑time night shift. You will collaborate with physicians to assess patient readiness for changes in level of care and provide care for ICU, inpatient, and telemetry patients.

The role requires 1 year of ICU experience, an active Arizona RN license (or compact-state license), and BLS; ACLS within 30 days. Oncologic chemotherapy/immunotherapy knowledge is a plus. Nights span 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., two 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of ICU/inpatient nursing experience.
Arizona RN license or compact-state RN license.
BLS certification required; ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy card within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care.
Assess, treat, care for and educate ICU, Medical Surgical, and telemetry patients as necessary.
Conduct risk assessment, prevention and treatment of pressure injury.
Interpret and operate cardiac and other invasive and noninvasive monitors, recognize rhythm trends, and intervene accordingly.
Care for patients with complex needs including hemodynamically compromised and ventilated patients.
Initiate and maintain complex IV therapy and arterial/central lines.
Use life‑supporting modalities such as BiPAP and arterial monitoring.
Care for patients with lines and ostomies.
Manage analgesia via PCA and epidural catheters.
Demonstrate knowledge of chemotherapeutic/immunotherapeutic agents.
Work two 12‑hour shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
