Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for its ICU, night shift. Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with patient-centered care and facility policies. Leads the healthcare team, upholds Service Excellence, and communicates effectively with patients and colleagues.

Requires Florida or Compact license, BLS, and 1+ year ICU experience. Opportunities for career growth within UHS network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• One year (or more) critical care experience in acute setting.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPI or NIH certifications as required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
