Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an ICU registered nurse for a 3x12 night shift in a 20-bed critical care unit in Louisville, KY. The role is full-time with 36 weekly hours (7 PM–7 AM) and every third weekend. Experience in critical care and a Kentucky license are required, with BCLS and ACLS certifications to follow per policy.

The ICU team handles stroke, post-op neurosurgery, and other critical conditions. Sign-on bonuses are available for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky nursing license required.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within six months for experienced staff nurses and within one year for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient needs in ICU and implement appropriate interventions.
• Establish and maintain a plan for delivery of nursing care and direct nursing activities.
• Serve as a resource to guide patients and families through the critical care journey.
