Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a Full Time Night shift Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care, reporting to the care team and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.

Experience in critical care, strong assessment skills, and commitment to patient safety are required. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing life-support equipment, and participating in performance improvement

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and ACLS/BCLS certifications.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings; report condition changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge care.
