Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an experienced RN to join our team for direct patient care in a high-demand setting. This role requires applying the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe care for patients across the care continuum.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, medication administration, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit certifications and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to developmental age.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per job description and competency.
• Documents patient care per standard procedure.
