Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks an experienced registered nurse for critical care duties in a 78-bed facility. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, collaboration with physicians, and comprehensive care planning for critically ill patients in an ARU/ICU setting.

You will work closely with the care team, perform assessments, manage orders, and participate in discharge planning while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Current state RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing care standards per hospital policy.
• Assesses patient on admission within required time frame.
• Develops and updates nursing care plans.
• Documents assessments and care plans in EMR.
• Administers medications safely per policy.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and initiates emergency action.
