• Delivers coordinated nursing care to a patient or assigned group per standards and nursing process
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff across levels and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collaborates with patient, family and healthcare team to provide safe, healing care environment
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members
