Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the ICU, using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will guide patient teaching and coordinate with nursing staff while maintaining high standards of care.

The role requires critical care skills, timely physician communication, and strict patient privacy. Employment is part-time with nights and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; CCU/ICU preferred.
• BSN preferred and CCRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and nursing staff activities.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in clinical condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and protect patient privacy.
