Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for the 10-bed Intensive Care Unit. Night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with a 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratio, offering opportunities for leadership involvement and professional development.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing mentoring of new staff. A NH/compact state RN license and BCLS are required; BSN preferred with ACLS eligibility.

Qualifications

• RN license required in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred; 2+ years of ICU experience implied by unit level.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within the 10-bed ICU.
• Coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document accurately and timely using the electronic medical record.
• Mentor/teach new staff and support professional development.
• Evaluate patient status and adjust care plans accordingly.
