Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for the Night shift in the 20-bed Neurosciences ICU. The CN provides hands-on nursing care, follows evidence-based practices, and collaborates with the care team to implement plans of care.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care in a Magnet-designated environment. As a professional nurse, you maintain licensure and BLS, with ACLS may be required by some cost centers.

Qualifications

• RN license in California or eligibility to practice in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, as well as ongoing licensure maintenance.
• ACLS certification may be required by some cost centers; CRONA union representation is noted.

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families to support healing and participation in recovery.
• Performs accurate assessments and monitors patient data to identify stability or deterioration and determine nursing diagnoses.
• Plans and implements therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the care team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
