Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Intensive Care (MICU) in Florida for a 13-week, night assignment. Candidates must have 18 months of MICU experience, an active nursing license, and BLS/ACLS certifications; NIHSS must be obtained before start.

EPIC experience is required. Nurses will float within scope to meet facility needs and must perform arterial line care, central line care, ventilated patient management, ABG interpretation, sedation management, and handling IV drips.

Qualifications

• 18 months MICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Active nursing license required.
• Certifications must include BLS and ACLS; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start.
• EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and manage sedation and IV drips.
• Care for ventilated patients and manage arterial/central lines.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and monitor multisystem organ dysfunction.
