Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital-Northwest Indiana is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. ICU, LTAC, or Post-Acute experience is preferred, with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

A strong computer skill set is expected to support documentation and care coordination. The role offers a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates and tuition reimbursement under an Employment Assistance Agreement with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of employment.
• ICU, LTAC, Critical Care, or Post-Acute experience preferred
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
