Job summary

Adventist Health in Templeton, CA seeks an ICU Lead RN to provide unit leadership in the ICU, coordinating care with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians and staff. You will supervise nursing and ancillary personnel, ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care, and drive improvements in patient safety and patient experience.

The role requires a California RN license, BLS, and a strong background in critical care, with supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years’ technical experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership, collaborating with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians and staff.
• Supervises and directs nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Addresses patient care quality and safety, and drives improvements in patient experience.
• Manages staffing based on patient acuity and maintains budgeted costs.
