Job summary

Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley in Tehachapi, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU on a night shift. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient group, following established standards and the nursing process.

The role requires BSN preferred, RN license in the state, and CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS required. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with other disciplines, participate in discharge planning, and ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
• PALS or ARC-PALS certification required.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
