Job summary

Corewell Health's Troy hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the IICU unit, delivering specialized care to post-ICU patients on a night shift. You’ll apply the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and coordinate care under the Nurse Leader to optimize outcomes.

The role requires MI RN with active license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing within five years.

Qualifications

• Associate’s in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC/Canadian Heart & Stroke required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
• Direct inpatient care preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Incorporate patient-family centered care principles in planning and care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge for patients.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and document education in the health record.
