Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU Intermediate unit in Columbia, SC. You will provide comprehensive nursing care in an acute inpatient setting, following evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires clinical competency, collaboration with the care team, and the ability to manage complex cases in a magnet-designated hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Able to work night shifts and adapt to unit needs.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patient/family input.
• Ensure care documentation is accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient status and adjust plans accordingly.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, policies, and procedures.
