Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Health Unit Coordinator for the Medical Intensive Care Unit C2/5. This 60% FTE role includes day and evening shifts, with a mix of 8- and 12-hour days and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical or customer service environment required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate the day-to-day operations of the unit.
• Answer phones, organize files, order supplies, handle correspondence, manage databases, and provide general support to patients, family members and staff.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
