Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced RN for ICU Float in Pensacola, FL. The role entails night shifts and PRN coverage, floating to multiple units as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire or transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies and protocols. Primarily float to one or more specialty units as defined by market.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
