Henry Ford Health Staffing is seeking qualified registered nurses for a contingent float pool across multiple units in Detroit, MI. The role offers nights with the flexibility of self-scheduling and placements based on experience and unit needs.

Team members gain diverse clinical exposure while supporting high-quality patient care within a nationally recognized health system. Licensure and certifications are required for assignment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of three years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical environments.
• Current Michigan RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in units, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential changes in condition.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, educate patients, and support postoperative care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Orient to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality improvement and safe care standards.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled.
