Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years ICU experience.
• ED experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or must obtain ACLS by end of orientation.
• Adheres to ICARE standards.
• Evidence of basic analytic thinking for patient care.
• Observation skills and priority setting.
• Ability to function under stress with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time/priority management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Respond to emergencies in any department as a CCU float pool RN lead for rapid responses.
• Lead rapid response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, and out-patient Code Blue calls as applicable.
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain Patient and Family Centered Care.
