Job summary

Medical City Arlington is looking for an RN Float Pool Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing teams during day shifts with rotating weekends. This role directs, monitors, and evaluates patient care, working with the management team to maintain high standards and efficient throughput.

You will participate in staff development, scheduling, and inventory control while supporting a patient-first philosophy and ensuring excellent clinical outcomes across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN required.
• ICU CNC experience mandatory; ICU charge nurse preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Directs, monitors and evaluates nursing care in the unit during the shift.
• Collaborates with management to create teamwork and improve outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Oversees staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Manages inventory control and equipment/supply needs.
