Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to deliver professional care in a busy critical care setting at night with rotating weekends. The RN will assess patients, follow the nursing process, and assume charge roles as needed; requires ACLS/BCLS, an RN license and an associate or bachelor degree with 2 years acute care experience; prior critical care preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Float Pool RN delivers professional nursing care to all patients in a critical care setting; performs assessment of patients, follows standard of care utilizing nursing process for care delivery; maintains accountability for professional decisions & actions; assumes charge position as needed

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 2 years Acute Care RN experience Required Years of Experience
• 1+ years of critical care experience preferred
