Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville’s RN Float Pool is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position supporting Medical ICU and Cardiovascular ICU, with 12-hour night shifts and a three-shift weekly schedule. Expect holiday and weekend rotations and a collaborative interprofessional team focused on safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years ICU experience (CVICU preferred).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years ICU experience required; CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and communication to maintain a safe patient environment.
