Job summary

St. Luke's Health - Patients Medical Center in Pasadena, TX seeks an ICU/ED Manager to provide leadership for the patient care unit with emphasis on quality, fiscal responsibility, and staff development.

You will lead clinical practice, monitor the work environment, and ensure delivery of competent care. The role includes coordinating with nursing and hospital leadership to meet departmental goals, manage resources, and foster continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and Registered Nurse required.
• Starting January 2016, new hires should have: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years leadership experience or Master's Degree and no experience.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and communication to and for the patient care unit or service.
• Monitors work environment and assures quality.
• Manages fiscal budget, staffing patterns and resources.
• Oversees human resources including orientation and payroll accuracy.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participates in chart review audits and drives continuous improvement.
