St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks an ICU Nursing Manager to oversee unit operations and staffing, ensuring patient-centered care and staff accountability.

You will lead efforts to implement evidence-based practices, improve outcomes, and drive patient experience programs. The role requires a BSN, valid Texas RN license or compact license, BLS, and 1+ year leadership experience; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Specialty Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or a valid compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience and 1+ year in a leadership role.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily unit/department functions and staffing to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes and ensure adherence to standards of care.
• Support efforts to reduce clinical variation and improve efficiency, accountability, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
