Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of ICU Services and plan, direct and coordinate all operational activities for areas of responsibility
• Develop policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility, as well as develop the capital and operating budgets
• Ensure areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff
• Development and enforcement of policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care, and for quality and performance improvement activities
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines (federal, state, local and other agencies)
