Emory Healthcare is seeking a patient care technician in Warner Robins, GA. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Staff Nurse, assist with ADLs, collect specimens, transport patients, and prepare for procedures.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, plus completion of a patient care assisting program or equivalent healthcare training. BLS/PEARS and other certifications may be required within 9 months.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required; candidate may be enrolled in nursing degree program.
• Graduate of approved patient care assisting program or licensed practical nursing, EMT or paramedic program.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient preparation for procedures.
• Collect specimens and vital signs; transport patients.
• Perform unit-specific tasks with documented competencies; support nursing staff.
