Emory Healthcare in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide support under the supervision of the Staff Nurse. You will assist with ADLs, transport patients, prepare for procedures, collect specimens and vital signs, and perform unit-specific procedures with documented competencies.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved State Technical College program in patient care assisting, licensed practical nursing, emergency medical technician or paramedic or currently enrolled in and participating in the clinical portion of a nursing degree program.
• Education/training (except for HS diploma or GED equivalent) may be waived with experience listed below.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care under the supervision of the Staff Nurse, including assisting with ADLs, specimen collection, and transport of patients.
• Assists with patient preparation for procedures and collection of vital signs.
• Performs unit-specific procedures and tasks with documented competencies.
• Works as part of a team to ensure resources are available to all internal and external customers.
