Job summary

Paycom in Amarillo, TX is seeking an ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our day shift, full-time team. The role emphasizes supervision and coordination of care for critically ill patients.

The RN plans, implements, documents and evaluates nursing care, mentors licensed staff, and ensures adherence to licensing standards. Acute care experience and BLS/ACLS are required, with CC course completed within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN license and renewal required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of acute care experience.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Completion of a critical care course within 3 months of hire.
• English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Specialty certification recognized.
• PICC line insertion certification recognized.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients and supervise others.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care for each patient.
• Coordinate education and care plans with nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and documentation standards.
