UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a clinical nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and coordinate patient plans from admission through discharge.

The role emphasizes mentoring students and new staff, performing professional nursing duties, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across the continuum of care. Fluency in English and a BSN are required, with ICU experience preferred.

Formación

• Requires BSN and active RN license in California.
• PALS certification within 6 months.
• 2+ years ICU nursing experience or completion of UC Irvine ICU orientation.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient reading, writing and communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement care plans for a defined patient group.
• Assess patient needs, intervene, and advocate across the continuum of care.
• Evaluate outcomes and readiness for discharge; adjust plans as needed.
• Serve as role model and mentor to students and new staff.
• Act as Patient Care Coordinator as requested by supervisor.
