Job summary

Duke Raleigh Campus, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks a Nursing Assistant I to support RN/LPN in direct patient care and unit coordination.

The NA provides基本 care, documents in EMR, and assists with procedures, admissions, and transports. Completion of NC Level I program and NA I competency is required; BCLS may be needed. Relocation assistance available per eligibility.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Level I Nurse Aide education program approved by NC Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of NC-approved Nurse Aide I competency test.
• Current Nursing Assistant I (NA I) certification on file.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide assistance.
• Record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain patient comfort.
• Take vital signs and document I&O with RN/LPN guidance.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transportation of patients.
• Maintain clean patient area and assist with clerical duties in EMR.
• Follow safety policies and communicate changes in patient condition.
