Duke University Health System's Duke Raleigh Campus in Raleigh, NC seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA I) to work in the Progressive Care Unit. You will provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and support unit operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include prepping patients and equipment, recording data, assisting with activities of daily living, helping with exams, taking vital signs, and documenting in the EMR.

Formación

• Nursing Assistant I certification and BCLS compliance required.
• Ability to perform basic patient care and documentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication with RN/LPN.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN.
• Administer basic care, including feeding, bathing, hygiene, and comfort measures.
• Assist with teaching instructed by RN and/or providers as needed.
• Assist with examinations by positioning patients and applying non-sterile dressings.
• Take and record vital signs, document I&O, and report changes.
