BMCHS is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (MSW) for the MICU to provide psychosocial assessments, case management, and crisis intervention under clinical supervision. The role emphasizes biopsychosocial care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families.

The position requires an MSW and eventual LCSW licensure within specified timelines, with a 40-hour weekday schedule and clinical patient contact. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s Degree (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work.
• Must sit for the Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Certification exam within 90 days and obtain licensure within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Completes biopsychosocial assessments and trauma assessments.
• Provides trauma-informed, crisis interventions and safety plans.
• Develops rapport and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary medical teams and community providers.
• Documents patient encounters in EHR (EPIC) and department records.
