Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to join a community-based hospital environment providing direct patient care in a 12-bed medical/surgical ICU unit.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care; promoting patient and family-centered care; and contributing to safety, quality, and regulatory activities. RN license and nursing degree required; 12-hour night shifts with shift differential.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or higher (ADN/BSN/MSN accepted).
• Open to all experience levels; 2 years preferred for higher roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per nursing standards.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care; educate on illness management, post-treatment care, and meds administration.
• Participate in safety, quality and regulatory activities; pursue ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans; collaborate with the healthcare team and families.
• Apply critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial and emotional needs with cultural sensitivity.
